My family recently purchased a home in Stowe and we had the pleasure of working with Deborah Tobey. Steve is literally the best broker ever. Being a lawyer I have had hundreds of transactions with realtors, and I would say Steve is the best of them all. He is knowledgeable with both commercial and residential transactions. He knows when to counter and negotiate and when to hold--he will make the deal for you that is right--that says a lot coming from me. He is also cutting edge with electronic documents and knows everyone in area to get answers. He knows about leases and title issues and I cannot imagine a single real estate transaction that he could not solve.

It is hard to explain to anyone who has never probated an estate for a close relative - how very difficult it can be. Selling this property was complicated (practically and emotionally). It involved a probate with 12 heirs, and very troubled and difficult tenant. Steve was recommended to me by one of those heirs, a close cousin, with whom he is friendly. It helped also that Steve was familiar with the property. Upon meeting with me - he was kind, patient, friendly, understanding. But what's more - he was thoughtful, problem-solving, and innovative. He very quickly reached out and offered the RARE and UNIQUE service of an auction. This was SO IMPORTANT to this situation because of the difficulty of the tenant. One day of showing, one day of auction. Not multiple visits. This is why Sierra's presence is SO VALUABLE. Add to that that she is friendly, relatable, knowledgeable, experienced, and funny and sweet. Mike Hickey, Steve Foster, and Sierra Langdell ALL three showed up to the showing date, and the auction date. The process was thorough, thoughtful, well planned and well executed. Communication was excellent - which is so important to me. And in this case, with many moving parts, updates, and edits - it was key, and greatly appreciated. I felt personally supported and understood in a difficult situation. I cannot recommend this team enough.
